Men’s jeans are available in a variety of fits and styles from retailers such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, American Eagle, and more. Popular fits include skinny, slim, bootcut, straight, and ’90s jeans. Reviews suggest Levi’s 511 Premium Slim Fit Men’s Jeans and Bonobos Premium Stretch Denim Jeans are good everyday options, while GQ recommends 15 Best Jeans for Men 2023 under $100.

Denim has become a wardrobe staple more so than ever. We are now seeing sport coats and dressy shoes paired with jeans as well as seeing more jeans in the work place. I realize that with all of the styles and fits out there it can be a little confusing when trying to choose a pair for yourself. Here I have highlighted my eight favorite premium jeans for men. Hopefully this will make it easier.

If you like slim jeans, like me, these Rock & Republic ‘Rex’ (Operate Blue Wash) skinny jeans are just the thing. They look great in this distressed indigo color. Skinny jeans have had a big comeback, as with many trends from the ’80s.

Earnest Sewn ‘Fulton’ Straight Leg Jeans (Maz Dark Wash)

These Earnest Sewn jeans are the perfect everyday jean. The denim has a dark wash with some slight fading, and the fit is lower-riding with a straight leg.

True Religion Brand ‘Ricky’ Straight Leg Jeans (Inglorious Wash)

I never thought True Religion jeans would catch on with guys the way they have. My favorite ‘Ricky’ style has a dark blue wash, but it does come in many colors. They also have flared legs, and twisted seems. The color and style make for versatile jeans.

Diesel ‘Zathan 8B2’ Bootcut Jeans

These jeans really show off one’s assets. They are straight-leg jeans in a dark ink wash, with the Diesel signature logo embroidery on the back pockets.

Nudie Straight Leg Jeans (Core Blue Wash)

Nudie Straight Leg Jeans (Core Blue Wash)

Rock and Republic jeans are really popular these days, and this is a seriously cool style with the medium wash, flap pocket, and signature yellow stitching logo. The jean has a low rise and bootcut leg.

Citizens of Humanity ‘Evans’ Relaxed Straight Leg Jeans (Advantage Wash)

Citizens of Humanity 'Evans' Relaxed Straight Leg Jeans

These Citizens of Humanity relaxed straight-leg jeans are great. They are very current with the straight leg and dark indigo color. They have fading and whiskering in all the right places, and the denim has a bit of stretch. I love jeans with a bit of stretch since they are quite comfortable. The ‘Evans’ fit comes in several colors.

Joe’s Jeans ‘Brixton’ Slim Straight Leg Jeans (King Wash)

These Joe’s Jeans are straight, straight-leg jeans with a cool dark wash. I own a pair, and I wear them a lot–they are so comfortable and very stylish. The wash and style are clean, making them very versatile.

7 For All Mankind ‘Standard’ Jeans (Mercer Wash)

7 For All Mankind 'Standard' Jeans (Mercer Wash)

It’s refreshing to find denim without all of the distressing going on. Besides, raw-looking, dark-wash jean like this one is very current. The fit is slim but not skinny. The dark color makes these jeans easy to pair up with just about everything. I have these jeans, and I wear them with a graphic tee and retro sneakers, as well as with dress shoes and blazers. But they do come in many different washes.
