The Helix Bridge – This incredible architectural wonder amazes visitors with a cutting-edge design that was inspired by the structure of DNA, forming a visually appealing representation of the continuity of life’s growth and renewal. The pedestrian bridge spans 280 metres to link Marina Centre with Marina South. In addition to its role as a useful connection, the bridge provides a scenic journey with shady canopies and viewing platforms visitors can pause at to take in the panoramic views of the bay. The Helix Bridge is illuminated by thousands of LED lights after sunset to produce an enthralling visual experience, which also makes it a picturesque feature of the Singapore’s glorious cityscape.

The Singapore Flyer – One of the world’s largest observation wheels, the Singapore Flyer soars to a dizzying height of 165 metres, offering an unrivalled panoramic view of Marina Bay. Passengers are treated to the breathtaking sights of iconic landmarks during the 30-minute ride. Each capsule is air-conditioned to make a comfortable and spacious environment to take in the glorious cityscape from. Many visitors wait until sunset to ride the Flyer so they can witness the hypnotizing transition from the city’s shining day to sparkling night.

Merlion Park – No journey to Singapore’s exciting waterfront would be complete without a stop at the iconic Merlion Park, where the famous symbol of Singapore, the auspicious Merlion statue stands guard over Marina Bay. The mythological Merlion bore the head of a lion on the body of a fish, and represents Singapore’s humble early days as a sleepy fishing village rising to great power. The city’s traditional Malay name ‘Singapura’ means ‘lion city’. Every year thousands of visitors gather at the waterfront Merlion Park to see the majestic 8.6-metres tall statue, capturing it in their photos along with the city skyline’s scenic panorama. Stationed nearby, the smaller Merlion cub statue is also a popular ‘must see’ attraction as it helps its senior protect the city from misfortune and danger.
