Every day, it seems like there’s a new lunchtime procedure to fix any insecurity or problem area you want to beautify. After snooping around model-turned-actress Karrueche Tran’s Instagram, we spotted a new beauty procedure for eyelashes that we’re sure will be trending in no time soon.
Well, if you hate curling your lashes and applying endless amounts of mascara to your natural hair every morning or can’t seem to get the method of stripping lashes down, there’s a semi-permanent lash lift that’s the next best solution. Eyelash lift, anyone?
Tran shared with Allure that Elysee MakeUp & Beauty’s eyelash lift procedure dramatically changed her life.
“I recently did this thing called Keratin Eyelash Lift, which is a natural way to curl your lashes,” she said. “It’s super cool because right now, eyelash extensions are really big, but I heard that they’re bad for your eyes, and they pull your lashes out. And sometimes, I feel like they look unnatural. So I went with Hrush Achemyan, one of my favorite makeup artists, to go get these eyelash lifts, and ever since I’ve been loving it. And that kind of motivated me to keep my face more natural.”
Keratin Eyelash Lift
A keratin lash lift is a cosmetic procedure that enhances the appearance of the eyelashes by curling and lifting them. The treatment helps strengthen the cells that make up the lashes, thanks to keratin’s water-shedding properties.
It is a semi-permanent lash enhancement procedure similar to a regular, chemical one, but with some key differences. A lash lift is a chemical procedure that works with a client’s natural lashes, and for all intents and purposes, it is a perm for the lashes.
The procedure lasts up to two months and is designed to nourish and curl the natural lashes.
