To recap, we’ve had some festive trends this season, including Santa hat eyebrows, candy cane liner, bauble brows, mulled wine hair, and Christmas tree brows. Oh, and tinsel lashes. Things are far from over because the latest holiday beauty trend is Christmas wreath eye makeup.
You might have thought that a red and green smokey eye was festive, but Christmas wreath eye makeup takes things to another level. The look was created by a makeup artist and Instagrammer @muaautumn. The makeup has a cut crease look, with the green shadow being applied above the brow. Ashley then added some coordinating sparkle and gold and red balls to mimic the holly and ornaments found in wreaths. A touch of white added a realistic accent.
If you’re wondering how to get the Christmas wreath eye makeup look, Ashley was kind enough to post a mini-tutorial on Instagram. Her finished photos show her complementing the look with wispy false lashes, flawless brows, and a soft red lip with gold accents.
