If you want to make your own dry shampoo, these recipes will show you how to create it in easy steps.

I am a little obsessed with dry shampoo. As a newly-converted member of the “I Wash My Hair Once A Week” Club, but not an inductee of the “IDGAF About What Society Thinks” Club, I want my dirty hair to look decent even when it hasn’t been scrubbed in five days. Therefore, dry shampoo is one of the best options I have, so I have been gradually trying numerous brands in order to determine which is most efficient, most effective, and has the best scent. In January, I did a tutorial on how to use canned dry shampoo, but a recent visit to a very DIY-savvy friend’s house is making me wonder if I should just try making my own.

There are tons of recipes out there using different ingredients, measurements, and tools. Which one is best for you? You can take your pick from these great tutorials!

1. DIY Dry Shampoo

I am not sure which I love more as dry shampoo storage: the spice container mentioned earlier or this salt shaker idea from GimmeSomeStyleBlog. Probably the salt shaker, because look how cute it is! And if you had fancy salt shakers…well, that would just be the loveliest thing to add to your vanity or bathroom sink.
