No matter where your skin tone falls on the color spectrum, you probably have a hard time finding your perfect foundation shade. There are thousands of different skin colors, all with varying undertones. Two similar skin tones can require two completely different foundation colors due to subtle differences. Since personally-blended foundations aren’t available at your local drugstore, we have to make do with the colors beauty brands currently offer. That doesn’t mean we have to settle for a less-than-perfect shade. These beauty brands offer a wide range of foundation colors, so make sure to check them out, next time you’re looking for some new face makeup:
Clinique almost has as many different products as they do foundation colors. Two types you need to check out are the Even Better Makeup SPF 15 which comes in 30 shades and the Superbalanced Makeup has 22 shades. If you’re overwhelmed, they also have a Foundation Finder on the website, to help you narrow down which product is best for your skin type and the coverage you want.
L’Oréal has their True Match makeup range of which offers 33 “true-to-you” shades. The makeup uses special technology to match your skin tone. Shades are divided into warm, cool, and neutral subgroups, so finding your formula is that much easier.
